A BIT ABOUT ME

I’m a BS/MS student at Johns Hopkins with a deep interest in mobile engineering and longtime enthusiasm for advancements in consumer technology. I grew up in Silicon Valley, waited nine hours for the first iPhone as a 5th grader and have worked on several iOS apps since.
I am most proficient in Swift, Go, and Java, experimenting with full-stack development as I’ve gained more software engineering experience. Hardware design interests me too, especially digital circuits, and I’ve experimented with some signal analysis on the JHU ECE Design Team.
My extensive design and communication skills are both a testament to my attention to detail and a valuable asset for any projects that require presentations, formatting, data visualization, promotional materials, UX considerations, photography, technological competence or the like. Clients from National Geographic to venture capitalists have used my work.
I love leading people to develop creative and thoughtful ideas. I co-authored and designed The Global Silicon Valley Handbook and four nationally ranked yearbooks, organizing unstructured ideas into products well suited for their target markets. I’ve also built a 3D printer, and have some minor CAD experience.
Personally, I’m into tech, history and space science, and I’d be happy to chat with you casually or professionally.

Ryan stopped at nothing to get all the details just right and I highly admire his ability to create something from scratch without much guidance—an entrepreneurial quality that will serve him and his teams well. I look forward to working with Ryan on other projects in the future, if I can be so fortunate.

Li Jiang, Venture Capitalist at GSV Asset Management

Working under Ryan at the Carillon showed me what passionate, talented, and dedicated leadership looks like. Ryan always went the extra mile to ensure perfection while also maintaining incredible efficiency. He's an inventive designer, passionate engineer always looking for problems to solve, and charismatic individual who inspires success.
